The Class of 2024 will be having a prom planning meeting in Mrs. Olah's room 134 after school on WEDNESDAY! You will be picking your prom theme and voting on vendors and favors! All are welcome!

The Class of 2024 will also be selling popcorn on Friday in all lunches!  One bag of popcorn will contain a coupon for a FREE CARAMEL APPLE just in time for fall!! 

Key Club will be doing a Miracle Minute at the Boys and Girls soccer home games this week! Bring some cash and donate ! Every penny raised goes to Riley's Children's Hospital!

Highland Theatre Company: The next Highland Theatre Company meeting will take place today after school in the auditorium. If you are interested in working on a crew for the fall production, you should plan to attend this meeting. 

All Student Council homecoming committees will meet after school on Wednesday until 3:45 in room 120. Please bring additional supplies needed to complete your committee's projects.

Student Council will  have a meeting before school on Thursday at 7 AM in the LGI. If you cannot make the meeting, please contact Mikayla Rebeles.

Diversity University will meet after school on Thursday until 3:45 in room 212. Members will continue working on creative projects. Anyone planning on going to the World Cultural Festival on Sunday, September 18th must turn in their permission slip to Ms. Larson by the end of Thursday.  

The homecoming dance will be on Saturday, October 1st from 7-9 PM. Tickets will go on sale next week--Monday through Thursday during Advisory, lunch, and after school for non-bus riders only. Advisory teachers will display additional information during lesson time, and look for posters around the school.

Homecoming date request forms are now available in the main office.  They are due Friday, September 16th.

This dance is for high school students only!

LUNCH:  Pasta bowl w/garlic bread, green beans, salad and fruit.

Results:

Boys tennis hosted their doubles invite this past Saturday and placed 3rd.  The boys travel to Lowell today.

Girls golf team turned in a team best performance last night at Wicker to defeat Chesterton.  Brooke Munoz led the Trojans with a season best 9 hole score and teammates Madi Stacy and Annalyse Miranda also achieved new personal best scores to aid the Trojan cause.  Nice job girls!   The girls host Merrillville and Griffith today at home.

Volleyball competed at Hammond Central last night.  Varsity won 25-19, 25-23 and 25-17.   Team stats:  38 digs, 29 kills, 26 assists, 9 aces and 2 blocks.  JV won 25-10 and 25-11.  Freshman won 25-10 and 25-12.  The girls travel to Munster today.
