MEET OUR DEPARTMENT
Our Guidance Team!
Welcome To Our Guidance Home!
Here's a little bit about who we are and what we do...
Each day, we spend time getting to know our students.
We share their triumphs and their struggles, their good days, and their bad days.
We watch them grow into young adults and help them to begin lives of their own.
The Highland High School Guidance Department is committed to helping ALL students reach their full potential in the areas of academic achievement, career development, and personal/social growth. Through counseling services, guidance activities, advocacy efforts, and management responsibilities, our department helps students answer the questions, "Who am I?" "Where am I going?" and "How do I get there?" It is our firm belief that once obstacles to education are removed and healthy decision-making skills are enforced, each student can turn their dreams into REALITY.
We are PROUD to say that we have earned...
Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award presented by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE).
Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) Award presented by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
