SOCIAL EVENTS: EVENT PLACE TIME

There will be a boys and girls track callout meeting on Thurs., December 16, at 3:30 pm in the LGI for anyone interested in track.  

Do you have questions about what FCA is all about?  Did you miss the call-out or 1st meeting for FCA?  No problem.  Just show up to our next meeting on Wednesday, December 1st from 2:30-3:00 in the LGI.  

Student Council committees will meet this Wednesday, December 1st, after school in Room 120.

The Class of 2023 will have an end-of-semester meeting next week, Monday, December 6th, after school from 3-4 pm.  Please plan accordingly.  

If you sold Poinsettias for the Class of 2023 December fundraiser, please see Ms. Wagener for your order this Friday, December 3rd, after school. 

Fundraiser forms for the Class of 2024 are due to Mrs. Olah in Room 134 by the end of the day Wednesday!  Please submit the form and money!

The class of 2024 will be selling candy cane grams during all lunches Wed - Fri this week!  Buy a candy cane and write a message to a friend, teacher, crush or significant other! They will be delivered next week during advisory!  Cost is $2

Highland Theatre Company: HTC will present their fall production of PUFFS: Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic this Friday & Saturday, December 3rd & 4th at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets can be purchased in advance at HighlandTheatreCompany.org or at the door one hour prior to curtain. 

Swimmers completed their swim for cancer on 11/26. Raising a total donation of $1249 to Franciscan Women’s Breast Cancer Care Center. They swam a combined total of 74150 yards which is about 42 miles. 

The math and English ISTEPs are the graduation requirement for the Class of 2022.  In order to graduate, this year's seniors must pass both portions of the ISTEP test.

Students who still need to meet this requirement met with our Guidance Department staff last week and saw a presentation that discussed the testing requirements and associated dates and times.

Students who are on the list to take ISTEPs will be reminded of the test dates, times, and locations via their Highland student email account.  Please make sure your student is prepared to test on the dates and times listed below.

Students who qualify for testing accommodations will test elsewhere and be given their testing information via their student issued email address.

Please ensure that your student arrives at the testing sessions with a FULLY CHARGED IPAD.

Tickets: Tickets will ONLY be sold Mon.-Wed., Jan. 10-12 during all lunches

(NO late purchases will be allowed.)

Cost is $35.00 per person and are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Picture Information on the picture packets and a payment envelope is attached.  

Information: At the time you check into the dance you will be given a time that your 

picture will be taken, provided you have your order envelope and 

check for the pictures.  **You will not be given a time for your 

picture if you do not have your envelope and money at the time of 

check in.  Make all checks payable to:  Royce Photography.

King/Queen Only Highland High School students will be allowed to vote for the

Voting: King and Queen.  Voting will take place via google form between

between Mon., Jan. 10 thru Thurs., Jan. 13.  Check your google 

classroom for the ballots.

Security: Please be sure to secure all valuables (cameras, cell phones, money) in 

a safe place.  Highland High School is NOT responsible for lost or

misplaced items.  

NOTE:  All coats MUST be checked in (free) at the coat check.

              (They may not be taken into the ballroom for the dance.)

Masks:  All participants will be REQUIRED to wear a mask at all times.

*Please keep this in mind BEFORE purchasing a ticket - NO REFUNDS.  

Everyone will receive a wrist band upon entering the dance.  If a student is

not wearing their mask, a chaperone will remove their wristband.  If they 

are found without a mask and a wristband, they will be removed from the

dance (See Note 1).  

NOTE 1:  Under these circumstances, if a student needs to wait for

a ride, he/she will be placed in a supervised room outside of the main 

room, away from other students, until their ride arrives.  

NOTE 2:  Masks may ONLY be removed while drinking a refreshment

while sitting at a table.
