EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSINGS

To receive an updated school closing announcement for the School Town of Highland from the current WGN/Chicago Tribune database on school closings, please read the directions below and then click on the link.  When the Emergency Closings webpage appears, click on "Status Search" link on the page. When the status search page appears, type in either "School Town of Highland" in the Facility Name box and "Highland" in the City box or type in the district phone number (219-924-7400) in the phone number box http://www.emergencyclosings.com/ You may also have an email automatically sent from the WGN/Chicago Tribune data base to alert you when there is a change in the school closing status. To do this, click on "E-mail Notification" link and follow the directions given for registering your e-mail address.   You may also check the district website and will receive an Alert Now message from the the school in the event of school closings.
